Update 15 Oct 2007: We are home! We arrived back in the U.K just over four weeks ago in time for my Grandma's 90th Birthday and a friends wedding. So it is back to reality with a bump, we should be looking for jobs but there seem to be so many better things to do!
If you've just joined us, stumbled upon us from google or have recently been given this website address by someone we've already met or know, Welcome. Before you do anything else, pop over to the feedback section and say hi. If you're interested in being notified when we finally manage to publish our new writeups, don't forget to leave your email address as well.
When we launched this website back in September 2006, just before we left the UK for our travels around the world, it was nothing more than a shell of a website. Since then, we've tried to provide you with in insight to our experiences and the places we've visited, using just shy of 100,000 words and countless photo albums to do so. No doubt some of those words were better selected than others, but we hope you enjoy reading about the journey so far.
The story so far
So far, you can find full coverage of our exploits in America (USA), Canada, Mexico, Guatemela, Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica, North and South islands of New Zealand as well as Australia. If you have an interest in all things food, you might also like to checkout Jane's 'Foreign Tastes' section of the website.
We have recently spent three weeks exploring Japan, but as the time we had there was relatively short, we felt that we should spend more time exploring and less time in front of the computer. The result, unfortunately, is another gap in our coverage that we will endevour to fill when we find the time.
Considering the fact that this website was just created to provide us with a memory of our trip, we think it's turning out quite good, not withstanding the small gaps that exist in our coverage of New Zealand and Japan. Remember, it's not over yet. We're not due back in the UK until September, so you've will have something to read about for a several more months.

Yes, we are still alive...
If you need to know we're alive between publication of our articles, your best bet is to email us or just keep an eye on our 'Quick Update Journal', which is often a little bland, but usually gets published more frequently.
The final option is to call us on our 'Skype In' telephone number, which we re-route to our mobile phone when we can get a local sim card. If you do call, please remember the time difference. (Email us for details)
